Springing Into Blogging!

Dear Potential Readers!

April showers are bringing the flowring of my brand spankin' new Writers and Other Animals blog beginning April 30. I hope you'll come read, comment, follow, utilize, and invite your friends!

New entries will post three days a week, with each of those days more or less focused on a general idea (although I'm not keen on sharp divisions and expect there will be plenty of overlap!). In general, though, here's the plan:

  • Mysterious Mondays will feature mysteries and thriller and the people who write them.
  • Writing on Wednesdays will expand the writing theme to include all kinds of writing -- fiction, nonfiction, poetry, plays, whatever! Sometimes the focus will be on a book or series, sometimes a genres, sometimes a theme. I'll include resources for writers and aspiring writers, and will post a writing exercise or prompt each Wednesday as well.
  • Artsy Fartsy Fridays will be a collage of art (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture...), artists, crafts and craftspeople, writing about art & craft, writing that features arts or crafts.... Think of Artsy Fartsy Fridays as museum rooms where you just never know what you'll find.

I have some terrific guests lined up, and some fun ideas of my own, so I hope you'll sign up to follow (at least on a trial basis for a couple of weeks!), and that you'll invite those you think may be interested.

Thanks!

Sheila
